I don't think any of us can answer that question unless we were actually there god forbid anyone is ever put in that situation

maybe a well trained sniper could have pulled something like that off. if 5-10 very brave souls had rushed and swarmed the guy, they likely would have stopped him, a few to severall likely would have been hit and possibly killed.
I thought I read where this guy was wearing a bulletproof vest and full riot gear. Perhaps he was prepared for someone in the theater to start firing back. I also read they found an un-detonated device in the theater, they did not know if he planted it before hand or throw it when he entered. It could of been worse, a lot worse.
He was wearing a tactical molle vest. Not a bp vest. Thats one thing the media keeps misconstruing

You know, alot of people say they can kill someone if the need arises, but alot of the times they freeze and panic. But aside from me ever being in that kinda situation, and saying I wouldn't freeze up or just book it, i'm going to go ahead and say that if I were there, and I happen to carry and even though i was fully aware of that law that I still would have tried to put that nut job down. Thats what a presidential pardon is for right?
those presidential pardons are reserved for white collar "friends" and cashed in on the prez's last day in office. I heard Bill Clinton pardoned so many somebody slipped one in the pile named LEX LUTHER and it got signed.
