i got a flu shot one time.. i was in the city hall waiting on a line to get my dog registered.. i saw a shorter line and i asked "whats this line for?" the lady said "free flu shots" i was like hmmm.. what the heck ill try it.. All i remember is that i got the sickest i have ever been in my life. and i remember what i allways said to remember so i never forget how i felt. I said if i ever again want to know what the flu shot did to me and i cant remember just say "i have never been so sick in my life and i felt like i was going to die". i dont remember exactly how i felt but i remember those word i told myself to remember if i ever thought about it again.
Well , i have had a shot every year since the first when Pres Ford got sick from it, back then it was mandatory in the service we had no other chioce... if anyone ever went over seas anywhere , it was in your mixture of shots before you left..... I haven't had the flu , not saying i won't but knock on wood , i want to be sure i don't give it to my grand kids, better to be safe then sorry
i have not gotten a flu shot since i got out of the Navy. i would get sick as hell from it for about 5 days. never have gotten the flu. the regular flu shots as i understand only work for a couple of the commen strains but at any given time there are flu bugs running around not covered by the shot?? i will not be getting any pig virus shots. no sir not me.
