Lacy, I'm assuming you are in good health and able to fight off a case of flu, but the purpose of the vaccination is not only to protect you, but to protect others around you and to try to curb the spread of the flu.I'm sure many of us would willingly put ourselves at a slight risk to protect the people around us.viruses can spread like wildfire in places where large groups of people are in close proximity to each other, such as schools,prisons,hospitals,airports,trains,subways,concerts,sporting events etc. now I don't own any pharmaceutical stock, just trying to spread a little info. the sermon ends here.
hey, don't mean to get all doomsday on ya, but the stage is set for a worldwide pandemic event. international travel, large groups of immune compromized people ( hiv, people on chemo, hepatitis,copd, homeless to name a few) put in place a scenario for the next "black plague" type event that could kill millions of people worldwide. nobody is sure if this flu is " the one " we have feared, and many people in the medical field are just as undecided over getting the vaccination or not as everyone else. yes my heart goes out to that poor woman, but bad reactions to medications happen and are difficult if not impossible to predict when vaccinating millions of people, and yes it will happen again to someone else. it is a tough decision to make and one I wouldn't want to influence one way or another on anyone. I am still kinda on the fence about it, but am leaning towards getting it only to prevent the possibility of me spreading it to some of my high risk patients.I don't meann to minimize anything but you are at higher risk of death every time you get in your car.

Been there,done that. Swine flu has hit my employee's family,pretty sure it's what my kid had.We all got over it.I think the whole thing is political to get everyone scared to go with Osama Hussien Obama health careagenda. Fall in line sheeple,and take your cool-aide.
