I work w/ pbs&j. Pm me if you need any details about the company or contacts. I also worked in petro remediation right after I graduated if that interests you and can give you the contacts there. I think they also have a tampa office. I also have a bunch of friends in other environmental/engineering companies that do work in air/water screening, biology, entomology, etc.

I will be in touch shortly, once I get a little more details about the requirements of my internship.

Here, are my requirements: during the course of the semester, I must work 180 hours, complete a daily activity log, and write a 5 page research paper. They don't seem to care too much about what type of environmental work it's in, as long as it's something environmental. They even said I could work at a crocodile rescue as it would meet the requirements.

Anyone know any state-licensed hog trappers that do it full time and catch a bunch of hogs? I just got the go-ahead on an internship with something like that since it's "invasive species removal." But, I have to work 18 hours a week doing it.

I was thinking (gotta look into testing cost and the possibility of receiving a small grant) it would be cool to get some numbers on brucellosis and psuedorabies infections in wild hog populations and how it varies....but that would require a trapper that really gets it done....cause I'd need some decent numbers to make any scientific claims.
