I was thinking about taking the 75 to 10 way when I go but now I might not.

I didn't hear where youre leaving from. but have gone the 301-10 thru ocala app 3- 3.5 hrs, traffic can get real backed up at the expected times or if stuck behind a slow rig, and WALDO is famous for it's speed trap. if youre close to i-4, I think I'd rather spend a little more time on a hwy going 75 the whole way then that 30-45-55-35 BS, and stop lights and no passing zones

I've never taken 301 but have learned over the years that cruise control at 80 with no stops saves me about an hour from taking the county roads when going that far north. Been stopped a few times going 95+ and had a trooper tell me that at 80 I would never get stopped and haven't since. I don't even hit the brakes at 80 and never had a problem. I've heard about the traps in Waldo also so watch your speed there. Not sure where 301 comes out but from where 75 and the T-pike meet in Wildwood to Sanderson ( I think it's called ) on the east side of Osceola National Forrest is right at 2 hrs at 80mph. Not sure if that helps at all but it's all I can give ya from way down south. 🙂

Just went up that way to South Carolina last weekend. Spring break traffic was bad at first but that's about done with. Everyone is correct about the speed traps and the GA/SC cops are all driving Chargers, so I guess they write enough tickets to pay for 'em.
