AWSOME, would have payed much more to make him happy. Now what does the nay sayers have to say :pinch
The guy asked "Did I do OK buying this gun". Answer is NO HE DIDN"T, he payed nearly twice what they can be found for, if you are PATIENT, PLAN and DON'T IMPLUSE BUY.
He didn't ask if he did a great job surprising his boy with an awesome christmas present, which I believe he did do a great job at and NO dollar amount can be put on that type of satisfaction and joy with your child, smart azz.....
Yeah, I honestly would have paid triple to capture the memory.
I have to know though. . .
In this day and age of panicky people paying crazy prices for anything that shoots lead projectiles. . Where can I find a gun for $45? Cause I seriously would pay that for ANY working gun.
the people panicking and paying way too much aren't looking for single shots. the big black gun craze may even lower the prices of more traditional hunting guns. I believe the op mentioned a price of 100$. not sure how you came up with 45$ but in these tough times you could probly find something. wouldn't guarentee any quality or safety though. some pos thrown in with a larger bundle deal, wierder things have happened. don't think I'd like to spend less on something that creates an explosion next to my face, then what I pay for my sneakers tho.
I was the op. I paid $89, that's why I said $45. Honestly you would be amazed at the people buying guns. I got a friend who is an FFL dealer. He sold out of ARs within a couple of days. Now he is almost out of all his used guns. I know the few shops I regularly go to were nearly out when I checked and had to get this gun from an unfamiliar shop.
Also the last minute shopping thing can be blamed on my wife. She doesn't like guns and it took me months to convince her to let me buy my son this gun...lol
theres a stevens 20 ga 311 a 20 sxs on gunbroker right now for 50$, very rough looking but sure it would go bang.
