Ok, weird. At 6PM I am cooking dinner and the wife and kid are in another room. All of a sudden the power goes out. House is completely dark. I look out back window and the houses across the woods have lights. Weird, as they are on same grid. I felt my way along the walls to get to the garage where I have a battery operated lantern. I open the garage, and low and behold the lights are on that are on the garage doors (they garage doors are wired to the A/C breaker).
That was the only power on in the entire house best I could tell. I made my way out the back door, around the side of the house to the meter. I opened the panel to the main breakers and they did not appear to be tripped. (There is two of them)
I flipped them off, than back on, and I had power again throughout the whole house.
The breaker panel also appeared to feel very warm. Not hot but real warm. i am paranoid and have been out there like 5 times since then and the panel is cool now
Bad breaker I am assuming????????
Not a bad breaker but a loose wire or burnt connection. Sending you a pm.

This
100%,would put money on it. seen it many times. Also if I were you i would take the garage opener and put it on its own breaker or another one other than the A/C, WH or well imo
Stick one finger on a black wire and one on a red wire and see if you get a tingle.
