I started this with the single reason to correct the statement "Darwinism also known as The Darwin Awards" and add a little reference info to explain why they are not the same thing. This got really funny and a little sad, but I had time left after having to stop turkey hunting at 1pm on public land.

jcoop what part of Florida are you from?

The pan handle. Why do you ask?
It did get a little sad, and I'm much to blame for it. Just when people start bashing science, which is always improving and not the final answer, with their opinion of the way things are the way they are with no rhyme or reason, i had to poke at it. No body knows everything about the history of the universe, and never will. It's just funny that people argue about it.

That was a funny video though. I don't give those guys a very good life expectancy. It is no wonder they want to ban guns with videos like this all over the internet.

This post cracks me up. So humans didn't evolve from another species? Like every other species/sub species?
Yea it must've been some guy in the sky that dropped the first two humans off. Then he made people part the seas, walk on water and live in eternal euphoria if you follow his ways, and burn forever if you don't.
Why are our skeletons so similar to all the animals we "harvest"?

And humans have only been around for a couple thousand years?

What a joke!!

So chariot wheels on the red sea floor and fossilized human bones are not evidence. A broad interpretation of things that look alike is though?
I guess many of thousands of years ago some guys said "hey let's throw these chariots over the boat deep into the sea, because one day man will have sonar and this will be a hell of a practical joke" Even though they had no idea what sonar was.

So what if Darwin had lots of schooling and came up with a believable theory. A lot of guys had schooling and came up with a believable theory that the earth was flat and the sun revolved around the earth. Does that make them smart? Theories are no more evidence of smart, than faith is the evidence of stupidity.

Can mankind be "created"... I don't know
Modern science "created" a living and healthy sheep without natural reproduction or evolution. If it weren't illegal they could create humans too. So is it possible many years ago some much higher intelligence created mankind? I think so. I guess we are smart though for thinking there is nothing greater than ourselves. Just like the mosquito doesn't recognize the great powers of man when he sits on my arm sucking up blood and I smack and kill him. You ever had a dumb mosquito like that that boldly fills his belly not realizing it is going to get him killed? To me that's atheism. A boldness to smite that which feeds you.

Anyway, if anyone wants to see the chariot wheels on the sea floor, send me a message and I will send a link.

Pretty easy to research

The bottom line is that at this point all that seems to exist to support the claims of chariot parts on the bottom of the red sea are pictures, most of which are of coral formations. No documented artifacts have been retrieved and preserved from the site and now the Egyptian government prohibits bringing any findings to the surface to the questions may remain for a long time to come.

Hoss74- No, theories alone do not make a man smart. Yet much of Darwin's work was substantiated by science in the years that followed, yet some questions weren't fully answered either way. But, this is not evidence of him being an idiot. When looking back in history we can find many examples of men who are considered to be brilliant minds who had ideas that were later proven wrong. Isaac Newton for instance. He had ideas about light that were primitive and more or less innacurate to our modern eyes....by your reasoning this negates all his other accomplishments and he is an idiot.

I am not a Darwin supporter. However I do recognize his signifigance to the advancement of science in the field of biology. I think it's pretty unfair to label a man who, without the benefit of modern equipment like computers or electronic microscopes, did what he did in the field of biology. He studied EARTHWORMS and established their true importance to healthy farming in a time when they were considered pests for instance. He published 4 works on BARNACLES that are still used by marine biologists today. There are other examples.

I would wager that you have been seriosly wrong on something in your life. Would it be fair of us to disregard everything you've ever done aside from that and judge your level of intelligence or mental capacity by it? I don't believe so.
