Well, either way, they lost my business. I'll pay more on ebay for them next time, but I'll get them when they are supposed to be delivered. In fact, I could have picked this order up cheaper on ebay, but I figured I'd go ahead and spend a couple extra bucks to get them straight from the source, which I didn't anyways, because PSE doesn't actually sell anything. They provide a front end for their products, but all the orders are fulfilled by whoever will do it cheapest for them.
I did send an email to PSE with the particulars, but I doubt that they will even acknowledge it.
Gary you just described our federal govt to a "T"
I ran in an Insty Tune last week to get an oil change instead of my normal mechanic. They did their best to up sell me on a whole bunch of stuff. They wanted to charge me $32.99 for an air filter. I get them at Wal Mart for $15, and told the dude exactly that. Also said I was way past due on a tranny flush. I just had it done 2 oil changes ago. Also my truck calls for 5W-20, and they tried to put in 10W-30, then charge me like $12 extra for the 5W-20. I really feel sorry for women and people who have no knowledge about vehicles
Took my car to the Toyota dealership since I had a coupon for $6 oil change. Took over an hour and then they came back with a list of stuff which included Clean & Adjust Rear Brakes. WTF is that??? That weekend I jacked up one rear tire and removed it. Took the drum off and looked at it. Tiny bit of brake dust. Blew it out with the compressor and put everything back on.
I'm so glad I can do most maitenance and repairs on my cars!!!
Oh and I threw the rest of the oil coupons away. I'll stick to doing my own oil change even if it costs me more.
Never buy a vehicle from Auto City of Sarasota, which is really located in Osprey.
We were going to buy a 2004 Isuzu Rodeo from them for my son. As I've mentioned before, he's in the US Air Force, and right now he's home on leave before reporting to his first duty station in Langley, VA. So we found what seemed to be a good buy on this Rodeo, negotiated a good price, and had a purchase order written up so we could get the financing done. Our bank approved the loan and even called the dealer and told them the loan was approved. All they needed was us to get some paperwork faxed to them so they could put the lien on the title. We called to find out when someone would be at the dealership so we could drop by, and the guy said,"Sorry, it was sold to someone else."!
Seems our salesman was off that day, so the manager let some other SOB sell a car that already had a deal in work. Plus, they got their kickback for handling the financing with these other people, whereas ours was basically a cash deal to them, and they weren't making as much. Didn't even have the courtesy to call us and tell us they had a better offer.
So, we're back in search of a good, 2004 or newer SUV. What a PIA!
my sis gave me a coupon book for tire kingdom last month. i went in cause i was due for an oil change. i normally do them myself, but i had a coupon for a free one, so i figured what the heck. they explained to me that i needed to pay 3 bucks for disposal of oil or something, no big deal. i requested that they upgrade to a synthetic as i have high mileage and when they were done, they tried to charge me $45 for the synthetic. i told them to KMA i only have to pay for the cost difference in oils and i got it worked out and i will never go back for ANYTHING again. what a ripoff.
