I hear ya there. Now, I'm getting concerned about my order to PSE for a dozen X-weave arrows. I placed the order on 6/26, received an email that it was shipped on 7/1 and would take 1-2 days for delivery. It's now 7/8, and I've heard nothing back from them. The number I called for Shopatron (PSE's retail selling provider) turned out to be a fax number or something, and they haven't responded to my emails. PSE might sell some good products, but their customer service sucks.

I finally got in touch with PSE, and, as expected, they very politely told me that it was Shopatron that I had to call. Well, they gave me a number, which was no longer in use, and I had to call another number, and after a series of push buttons and redirects, I finally got to speak to someone at Shopatron. Supposedly, they are going to contact the shipper to find out what happened to the order and are going to call me back. Like I'm gonna hold my breath for that.

Well, just got an email from the retailer that was supposed to ship my arrows. He said that I should have them by lunchtime tomorrow. What do you want to be that he didn't ship them until I cc'd PSE on my last update request this morning?

Surprise surprise. My order came a few minutes ago. And, while it didn't surprise me, the arrows were not shipped until 7/6 (5 days after they said they shipped them). And it looks like they shipped them in a hurry, because the shipping tube looked like it had been used 100 times and was held together with strapping tape. Now, to get my stuff together and start building some arrows.

Now, to get my stuff together and start building some arrows.

I'll tell you what happened. Items were packed and ready to ship on 7/1, by a person who had Friday off for the holiday weekend. He put them in the system as "shipped", and set them over where they put stuff to go out the next day. Of course, 7/2 was Friday before holiday weekend. Most the folks were out or just jackin' around waiting to head out for the weekend. So your package wasn't placed where the UPS/FedEx/USPS people usually pick up packages, and they of course make no effort to find packages that aren't where they oughta be, so it sat there all weekend. Monday everyone was still off for the holiday, except the guy who packed your stuff and took Friday off. He sat in the office all day hungover and not doing squat, because no one was around. So Tuesday, everybody's back to work, and when they go to send out some other packages they find yours and throw it in that batch.

That's how a package entered into a computer as "Shipped 7/1" really winds up shipping on 7/6!
