everyone stay away from firestone complete auto care unless you like spending money fixing things that dont need to be fixed. their tires are the worst i have ever worked with. they make there mechanics commit fraud and there salesmen sell things that were never recommended by the mechanic. help me get the word out guys. even their oil changes use the worst oil that i have ever seen and the cheapest filters. im not getting even or angry with them for firing me i just dont want to see anyone else get "took" by these people

Tires Plus is owned and operated by Firestone, so add them to the list of places to stay away from. I was an employee, and my trck had a water pump fail, so They fixed the water pump on my truck, I drove home and it overheated, blowing my engine. They tried to fix it but the damage was to severe. I then got mad, and cussed in the showroom and was fired on the spot. I ended up having the engine replaced in my truck at my own expense! Oh and becasue i cussed i violated company policy and did not get any unemployment compensation, after putting in 6 years with them.

Sears has the same policy special bottle of oil for shock sales. Pep boys has real problems and even when you catch them they cover up.

I ran in an Insty Tune last week to get an oil change instead of my normal mechanic. They did their best to up sell me on a whole bunch of stuff. They wanted to charge me $32.99 for an air filter. I get them at Wal Mart for $15, and told the dude exactly that. Also said I was way past due on a tranny flush. I just had it done 2 oil changes ago. Also my truck calls for 5W-20, and they tried to put in 10W-30, then charge me like $12 extra for the 5W-20. I really feel sorry for women and people who have no knowledge about vehicles
