Need a pic brother. I doubt it was a nutria. They literally live in swamp/marsh areas. I have seen a total of one, and that was about 20 years ago

sorry about the pic, gotta plead stupidity. I can send a pic e-mail anywhere but not post one on this site. just a big dark colored possum I guess.

that's your average opossum.

not my avg possum. can't see face but the ones I've seen have a kinda white face and striped coloring in the body. never seen a nutria out of the water so have only seen the faces. never seen one but heard cirus rats got big but not sure HOW BIG.
