Nacho- I'm glad you mentioned that Bactrim is sulfa-based! I am deadly allergic to sulfa- took it when a kid and almost died: had hives so bad- even in my throat! It closed up and stopped my breathing! Not a fun experience for a 5 year old! (or anyone else!)

yup, many bacteria have become so ATB resistant the old stuff works better. I just came off 20 days of augmentin (it doesn't work for me any more ) and ten days of bactrim and it's still no better/no worse.

Anything worth doing is worth overdoing

I just get up and go to work.I aint that bad to go see a Dr. yet. Am about sick of my head being stuffed up though.
