Well I didn't get my bow in August, but I will be getting it sometime between next week and the end of the month. I am debating between the Bear Charge and Bear Encounter. The charge is clearanced to 319.00 for the RTH (they aren't making them anymore). The Encounter is its replacement with a couple of upgrades for 400.00. Also any advice on broadheads would be welcomed. I am thinking about getting the guillotine for spring turkey.
I got the Bear Assault in a RTH Package of ebay for great price (purchased this past summer).. it was like 550 shipped w/ everything including 6 CF arrows.. I've loved it so far and have killed everything i've aimed it at including small rabbit and several hogs.
Bear has good Quality and Value in my opinion.
Well I finally got it! I bought the Bear Charge RTH, One of those foam rubber target things, a Tru-Fire release, 12pk of Carbon Fury arrows (which there are only 8 of now), 12 field points tips, and 3 expandable broadheads (G5 T3). Another plus is the Bow, release, and field points were all made in America not to sure about the broadheads.
