Well, I am looking at getting a bow around August. I am looking at spending around 400-500 at the most and was wondering peoples opinions on which one would be good for a beginner and what kind of accessories I should get with it. I was looking at Bear archery.

I guess I should also specify that my birthday is in August and am asking for gift cards to Bass Pro Shop or cash. That is the only way I can afford a bow right now.

If this is your first bow make sure you get set up for correct draw length to start out right. You can't just buy a used bow that is set up for someone else with out knowing what you need. After you have been at it awhile and have some idea of what you need then you can upgrade if need be. Good luck with it and enjoy a new hobby that will hook you for life.
