Sweet! I already know where I wanna be for gun opener, if it ain't overrun by then. Of course, I'll have to wait until the 9 day quota period is up, but, hey, it's better than driving all the way up the panhandle for a single day hunt. I'm just gonna have to get me some hip waders and an inner tube. That way I'll keep my feet dry, and I can float that monster buck out instead of draggin him. 🙂
positive thinking
I gotta think positive. I put hard work and a LOT of time in last year, and I had nothin to show for it. This year, I'm putting the odds in my favor with food plots, feeders, game cams, and positive thinking. I sure hope it works.
Might be a little on the warm side for down here. I sweat off 7# yesterday just stalkin thru the woods in my light weight summer camos. I can't imagine doin that in what amounts to a wet suit. But I appreciate the offer. Besides, if I did fall in, I'd drown upside down. Judgin from the water lines on the trees there, I could almost get away with takin a canoe back in there. Those firebreak ditches would be over 4' underwater.
