They heard you were headed up there, so they all came to Florida for vacation and to mess with rad and pcb.
didn't see any from the stand sat am, but spooked one up from it's bed while slipping/ stumbling/ falling around in the thick swampy/black mud. gotta bring some kind of bore clearer with me if i'm gonna be going in their alot. I managed to keep the bore clean but burried the stock up to the trigger in that black goo. glad it wasn't wearing a scope and was hunting alone so nobody witnessed the foolishness.it was hard enough getting my own azz oughta there, would have been totaly impossible to drag one out without like 3 guys. a cart or quad would have been useless, a plastic tobagon would have worked best.
Black balloons. One over the muzzle, and on each end of the scope (or, you can get one of those stretch over scope covers). Maybe you should see if you can't find a set of web snowshoes at a garage sale. They'd probably serve the same purpose here in the muck that they do in the snow up north.
