Yea you can drive on named roads, everything else you gotta hike. But I think there is a closer road up further that will take me there quicker, I just need to hike it and find out. The way I go now is basically a well used game trail but also well used by the few people who know about it. It takes about 20 minutes to get to the stand, thats a modest speed.

Do you know that area? Its off levee rd.

LOL I hunted turkeys in that same spot 2 years ago, I bow hunted pretty close to that area last year and seen a decent amount of pigs and a few deer, found a nice shed (6 point) in that general area while scouting last year.

Still cant believe that deer you got, the 10 pt. Such a nice deer...to think that deer came outta GS..just gets me dreamin hahahaha

That's the biggest cypress I've ever seen in these parts. Most of them here are tiny and like you said, relatively young.

Well if your ever in Sanford go to big tree park 11 ft diameter cypress. Thats impressive.
