Yeah i usually fix what i break( water mains exct) but i didn't know i broke this till it was too late. They had half the damn force on it digging the hole by the time i got there. It looked like they cut it with bolt cutters, i think I just nicked it seeing they only ran 2 lines to restore the phones of the neighbors. And the line had at least 100 wires in it. It probably could have been fixed by giving the two customers one of the other 99 lines that didn't appear to be being used. Oh well glad i have insurance, but i think I was set up. I need to go take pic's of the wire first thing in the am.
hell yeah, try to cover your :ahole: . hey, thats what insurance is for, mistakes and accidents. at least you are workin.
I stopped by this morning and they had his yard all tore up. lol Luckily they haven't messed my fence up. The home owner wasn't to happy but Oh well. On a good note I went shooting my bow and reached into my pocket and found $96.00. SWEET!!! Must have been drunk the last time i wore these shorts.
so do you know if they are gonna try and pin it all on you and stick you with a fine>?
No clue, the supervisor was real nice and understood that times are tough. He was going to try to fluff the paper work and recommend that they don't charge me for it. Saying their was old marking flags on site and the wire was not were it was supposed to be. So we will see with in a month or so. He was real nice about it and gave me his # in case they do charge me. He said he would do what he could to get it over turned. The last time my partner cut a phone line it was half the size and it cost $600.00. :big eyes: Wait and see
