drove it over to my guy who's a retired mech. he doesn't think it's a rod but maybe something with the oil pump. he will run some tests/examine further in am . a/c clutch started spinning again this am when turned on. noise is a pretty consistant level at all rpm's. now gotta complete my continuing ed classes and renew RN license by 7/31 and fix washing machine and get new cell phones, maybe try and squeeze in a little am hunt and kick this contest off right. allready had all the bad luck one man deserves, time for a break.

Still think it is the manifold or gaskets. You wil find them cheaper at a junk yard so do not buy new.
