Iluv2hunt I went too a orthopedic for a consult on my back, I was hurting but went there for a opinion because he was close to home. They wanted to do surgery but I had a neurosurgeon second opinion in pinelles. I had surgery but by the neurosurgeon not the orthopedic. You only got one back if surgery is the option get a second and third opinion.
while working in hospitals as an ortho nurse I always swore I'd never let anyone work on my spine or brain. now I need cervical surg. a lot of risk and no guaranteed outcome. and you're still gonna have the pain and very likely a new problem above or below the repair, with almost certain arthritis at the site when you get old. granted it's been more than a few years and am hoping for new types of surgeries and lower prices, and I believe in the tooth faerie also.
