To go along with that. The geniuses at PETA also killed a bunch of deer dogs in GA one year to stop deer hunting go figure.
I always wondered why they don't put all there efforts to stopping things like puppy mills and dog fighting, instead of trying to ban fishing and responsible pet ownership.
A few years ago we had a "bird watcher" and hsus member pick up a dog while trespassing on our dog lease. The story she gave when caught with the dog was she didn't want the dog to starve in the woods and didn't know it was a hunting dog. Luckily they didn't go far and the tracking collar was still in range. Turns out she was a part in another deer dog stealing episode in georgia. I think she learned her lesson here, we weren't putting up with her bullcrap and pressed charges.
