Ok really? This is how you know its too dam cold.
Me and my wife get to the stand and it was so cold we actually got down after 2 hours. So im like "dam im getting old cause i used to be able to handle this cold"
So i go to the truck and start it up and go to check the temp on the mirror. Well i was suprised!! Usually it reads the temp, this morning it said "ice" lolll.

I believe you are right about it being nippy! Got down to 25 this morning, that's why I'm drinking coffee and reading about y'all being cold and not being out there this morning myself :no . Maybe they'll be ramblin' this afternoon :shifty when it warms up a bit.

The temp didn't get below freezing till close to daylight. My son killed a porker yesterday afternoon. Looking at the weather I decided to gut it and hang it over night. I actually got a little worried. When I went to bed it was in the mid 50's. When I got up around 3:30ish it was 41. It was 27 on my truck this morning, but there was no frost at all on the drive out and I saw very little that had spewed up on the ground. When I got back and skinned the hog at 10, it had ice on it
I got as cold as I have ever been in the stand this AM. Messed up and wore my jacket while I packed my climber in about a mile which made me break a sweat and got my base layer damp. It was nothing but down hill from there and when that wind picked up shortly after day break I thought I was gonna shake slap out the tree. Pure Misery till noon is all I could take. I'll try it again tommorow and that will wrap it up for me unless I luck into one more quota.
My son and I went fishing this afternoon in gale force winds and about 45deg. I had uninsulated hip boots on. When we got back, I layed in the floor and propped my feet in front of the heater for 30 minutes before I felt my toes
