I thought that I would go to my place in Gulf Hammock and see if I might be able to see a hog. I wanted to get there early so not to run anything off from the feeder. on the way in I noticed that there was a lot of water in the woods. I hit one hole that was really deep and made me pucker when I hit it not knowing how bad it was. I made it to my property after a very muddy ride, 3 miles off of the highway. And of course I had to tip toe through water to get to my stand. As it gets daylight I notice that it doesn't look like the feeder has anything in it. Dang it man empty! I hunted the morning not seeing anything. I decieded to go get some corn to fill the feeder and return and get it filled and start to leave and on the way out I run into an old friend that I hadn't seen in sometime. I ask him what would be the best side of that big hole that I forged earlier that morning. He told me that the last time he went through it he hit the same side that I had earlier. But he also told me that he was told that the other side wasn't as bad. So I told him that I was going to try it. He told me to give him a call if I get stuck and he would come help me. We exchange phone numbers and I would tell him how the left side of the hole was...
Things didn't go as well as expected, made the call and told him that the left side was a no go! As water started to fill the inside of my truck Someone came from the other way. (the direction that I was headed) He tried to pull me out but didn't have the arss in his truck to do the job. My friend came around and gave me that extra lil pull that I needed.

By the way I had 6" of water in the floor board of my truck when they got me out. I open the doors and had a running river.

Fitting end to zone c hunting I guess. Foot and a half and flowing under my favorite stand. Can't even get to 3 out of 5. Probly be a month before I can get em out. Heck with it....I'm on a nice dry white oak ridge in appalachicola today and tomorrow.

Dang Bossman, I'd say you need more than a huntin' buggy! You need a boat brother. :eek Unless I guess if you get one like they use down in the Everglades.

Hope it didn't mess up your truck too bad.
