Looking to get a new weed eater (stihl) and like 4 stroke due to not having to mix gas.

What are the pros and cons?

Ive never owned a 4-stroke small lawn tool, but you can't go wrong with a Stihl. I own a Stihl chain saw and back pack blower. Both are 2 stroke. You can literally run them all day. During leaf season I literally spend an entire day every 2 weeks here at home blowing leaves. Literally running it wide open till it runs out of gas, filling it back up and doing it again all day.

100% FALSE

compare same power output 2t vs. 4t and you will see weights are all on the same level.

Husqvarna makes nice true 4 stroke trimmers
Stihls are a weird 4 mix (4 stroke but use some 2t oil in gas also)
echo's suck, I hate mine and father in law finally tried a different trimmer brand for landscape business and realized what he was missing this whole time.

entry level trimmers start at 10 lbs., middle weight ones are 12lbs. and the badazz ones are 14-15 lbs.
