Does anyone know how to get rid of them? We have alot of them in the kitchen area and garage area. Theres alot of them and im getting worried.
Anyone else ever had this problem? We remodeled out whole house and it was sprayed while that was going on.
I already broadcasted some fire ant stuff round the house and im sure it wont kill the carpenter ants.
Whats the best granual for carpenter ants to broadcast round the house and grass?
And the best spray for inside that a consumer can purchase?

Maxforce carpenter ant gel worked for me. Pretty good info about it on the web.

capenter ants do not like borax - buy a couple of boxes of mule team detergent. It is 98% borax to spread around.
1 cup of dawn dish soap mixed in a 5 gallon bucket of water. Put in sprayer , if you find the nest outside dump the bucket on them. It will kill them all within minutes.
for bait mix powdered boric acid with molasses. set bait stations away from the house. This will draw the carpenter ants to feed on it. Squirrels like molasses to, so do not make if obvious.
I have removed may carpenter ants this way.
