Bossman, :oops I had to look back in my wife's journal to remember what we did last year on the anniversary. We went to a shop and bought her a set of pajamas, (to wear in the hospital following her heart surgery that was 11 days after our anniversary) then we ate dinner at a restaurant and went to Lowes and bought 10,000 staples as we were in a project of covering our house with rough cut cypress board and batten. How's that for a report? :rolleyes If your wife keeps a journal you can find out some good stuff! When you planted, what you planted, when you busted Bambi and when you processed him. Wife's journal was a little bare for a few weeks after mid-October but everything is full speed ahead right now.

hey TF could you post a pic of the siding? Me and the wife have been talking about doing something like that for awhile now.
We had a good evening out without the kid for once. Ended up with another couple and at a restaurant that was quite a bit out of our price range. Food was decent but over priced. MAde our way down to Ybor city and ended up in a pride fest event or something. Everywhere we looked there were dudes holding hands and cuddling. The girls drug us into some drag show which I quickly departed. Being the old farts we are, was home by 11 and asleep by 11;30. Up at 5 to not go fishing

Congratulations to you, condolences to your wife! Ya'll seem to have a great marriage.
My wife and I have been together 26 years. Never been the best relationship, but stuck it out until the kids got grown up. Now I'm kind of wondering if we'll make it to 27, but no telling what's gonna happen. Been married longer than I was ever single, so it's more like a habit than anything. Good to know there's folks who found the right one and the happiness that goes with it!
