Ok people I'm the type of person that has to see it to believe it but earlier this year I had someone tell me that this stuff worked on a flea problem that he had and seen a noticeable difference after the fact. I have 5 dogs (3 in which are inside dogs) 12 chickens 2 horses not to mention the rest of the farm (the wife and kids). I spend $100 a month of flea meds for the dogs and Seven dust for the chickens and fly spray for the horses. After doing the research on fleas and the flies that bother the horses so bad. I found out that they both lay their eggs in the soil and the larva live in the soild to develope into the pest.
Anyway I placed these Nematodes out into the yard in the shady areas that the dogs like to hang out and in the chicken pens. knock on wood I haven't seen a flea since then and haven't bought any flea meds for the dogs. If these things work on the garden pest like it claims it might be something for everyone to look into. They are harmless to animals and one pack cost me $35.
I thought to myself "Hey I'll be willing to gamble $35 to see if this stuff works liked claimed"
Nuff said I'm a believer!

The beneficial nematodes have been out on the market for a while for various things, with mixed results. Someone was making a baiting system for termites using nematodes, and the EPA refused to recognize it as a stand alone treatment. When I was doing termite work heavy, I had a competitor selling the crap out of it. I think he finally got sued.
Here's an article on nematodes for fleas

Being from the Gainesville area I had looked at this Ifas artical in my research. That's why I didn't jump into to saying anything earlier. The one point that I didn't make to start with was I don't have a flea "problem" sure dogs are dogs and fleas love them, and if I didn't spend the money on the meds for my pups I would have fleas in the house. Knock on wood I don't have that issue yet. I'm just all about the preventive measures. By any means, I'm I gonna stop my termite treatments? Hell no! Just saying... :salute3d
