17-foot-long, 164-pound Burmese python caught in Everglades

Forget that "capture", "euthanize"... if I see 10'+ snake while out in the woods I'm going to kill it with extreme prejudice using my pistol or better yet the shotgun from distance.
I ain't going near the snake to do any post-mortem examination.
It's just going to be SS... shoot and shut up, without the shoveling.

and you know what!!!! they are still selling the damn things on the internet, etc. Just more that will be let loose or escape.
