Your zodiac and motor is worth atleast twice what that AK is. I have been looking at them on and off for running baits in place of my kayak. The AR is def worth more. If it were me and the other AK is the one thats worth $1000 I would offer a straight trade. If you really dont use it trade for the AR. Have you listed it on craigs list?
Cheapest used LMT AR I found was $1200 most are more around 2000.
The LMT prices are based on alot of factors, calibers, and options. Personally I don't like em.
It's all about being in the right place at the right time to get the best price. Do your homework before you go and you could end up getting a great deal. Study your AK's and AR's on-line, many forums and do your research before making a straight across trade on that one.
These types of weapons AK's and AR's have a million ways they can be taken apart, put back togther, remanufactured, customized, and screwed up. You have to know what your looking at or you can get screwed very easily!!!
Again, do your homework and reseach before you do a trade, especially on this type stuff...
A buddy of mine has an LMT Ar, and I actually really like it. It felt really good in the hand and the actions felt really smooth and well built. I didn't shoot it, and didn't axt how much he paid for it...but first impression was really good
