Well, we started this AK build awhile back when I bought it from CShunter1908 in April 2011. Here are two pics of what it looked like when we started the project.

Norinco WASR 10-63, 7.62x39, Semi, 75 Round Drum, Bi-pod, Tapco 6 position stock, quad rail, AK-74 Muzzle Brake, and a few little internal parts, found about 6 20-30 round steel mags and one polymer…. Shoots damm good to with open sights. Not a 500 meter gun but definitely a 200-300 meter gun or under 150 yards…

We stripped off the old wood and started putting her back together with some new parts and pieces we collected. We are 80% finished at this point and all we need to do to it is paint it – probably a digital camo color of some sort and figure out our optic, Scout scope or Eotech…

Once she’s all done, hopefully soon I’ll post final pics.

Can I ask you a question about changing a butt stock on AK?

I have this guy offering me his Vector Arms Bulgarian AK47 fitted with polymer handguard and a crutch wire style looking butt stock to trade for my zodiac and a motor.

Do you think I can change that crutch butt stock to just regular polymer or wooden butt stock without any special tools?
