I have been wanting to get an ar platform weapon. been waiting for prices to drop. i can get a used stag 5 6.8spc with 25rnd mag and 5 rnd mag, a bag to keep it in and 60rnds of ammo for 539+tx. eventually i will want to get a 223/5.56 upper for it, but i don't think i can pass this deal up. what do you guys think of the 6.8spc, and stag arms.
Heard great things about the 6.8. I wanted to set one up for my kids, but like you I was watching for a deal but I never found one. I just got them a youth model bolt gun and called it a day. The 6.8 is still on my wish list
I had one and it was a laser, loved it, dropped everything it hit, should of never traded it off. I would think you could pick one up used for cheaper than that though. I bought my upper used for $350
