Have y'all had any experience with any of the Charter revolvers? I've got S&W and Colt 38 Spls and 357, Kinda' interested in a snub nose 22 magnum and the Charter Pathfinder has started to look kinda' interesting. Any comment would be appreciated.

The 22 mag is a great caliber, unfortunately the current ammo cost and availability has me using 38 special cast bullet handloads MUCH more, for a fraction of the cost. Anything too big for a regular 22lr, you may as well bump it up to a 38 unless you are worried about fur damage. In regards to the charter arms & trying to remember "if you can't say anything nice", I'm sure it's safe to say they are no S&W, colt, ruger which you already have. On the + side one shouldn't set you back too much $ & would likely serve you well.

I was considering the 22 mag for my wife and didn't follow through with my project after a guy came by and wanted to do a little gun tradin'. He had an almost new Ruger SR22 and he wanted a New England Handi-rifle in .270 that I got in a trade a few years ago. So we made the deal, he then went on to say how the break open rifle reminded him of his 1st shotgun as a boy. I told him I had a NIB H&R .410 I'd part with. So in a few days here he comes with a NIB Sccy CPX-2. I had just learned about the Sccy company in Daytona Beach and had only seen pictures of their pistols. I asked, "How does it shoot?" He said, "It's NIB, can't tell you." So now I'm the proud owner of 2 polymer framed pistols. We put a Crimson Trace laser on the Ruger, it's just right for Miss Joy. The Sccy 9mm shoots very well, it is a DAO, no safety. The CPX-1 has a safety. The Sccy Industries pistols have an unbelievable warranty.

Thanks T.F. The wife & I are still alive & getting along, just a bit slower. I may have to change my handle to the guy who formerly ate nacho's. Enjoy the new guns.
