has anyone here tried the Remington sluggers? they claim to have reduced felt recoil to improve accuracy. I've been using the cheapo winchester slugs with mixed results and I'm looking for something better any suggestions are welcome. :toast

I have used them with a rifled bbl and had very good success accuracy was 3" at 75 yards short range was super grouping.

Remington is the only slugs I use. Very accurate to 100 yrds. Tried Winchester but my Remington shotguns didn't like them.

I have used the sluggers for years in smooth bore and rifled barreled shotguns. IMHO they are almost as accurate as the Remington Sabot slugs in my 870 Wingmaster Magnum, and cost about a third the price...

I've shot the sluggers and winchester rifled slugs in my smooth bore mossberg 500 persuder. The Wins are faster and just as accurate and I can shoot a real decent group at 50 yds with either. No felt recoil difference imo. Can't go wrong with either one but just see which your gun will shoot the best. I have about 70 slugs lying around and once those are used up I'll just buy which ever is available at my local Walmart. Around here they are pretty much the same price.
