I want to get my wife and her friend in a CWP class pretty soon. With all the crap going on in the Tampa area, I want her packing.
Does anyone know of one in the Bay area? I know they do them at the gun shows, but I would like for them to go to an actual decent class.
I will be taking it with them also. Ive had my carry permit for a while and carry every day(I used hunters ed. to get mine). But I know they would feel more comfortable if I took it with them, and I would look forward to learning something new as well

where do you live? I took mine in 04 by a former fed, he now teaches classes at crowders hardware in Spring Hill I believe. when you/her do your paperwork spring for the electronic fingerprints the process will go faster. and I like a hammerless snubbie myself and highly recomend the ruger sp-101, it's a little heavier than most but you will be able to control 357's with it and a lot less pain than the ultra lights. I bought my wife an alloy colt agent that can only handle non +p ammo but she loves it and shoots it well.
