You can shoot anything out of that barrel. BUT..with an overbored barrel you will not get the performance with a slug and it can produce a bad trajectory, the buckshot will be OK though.

Sorry frank you are wrong. You CANNOT shoot slugs thru that barrel. It should be stamped on the barrel to not shoot slugs. Pretty common knowledge in the Mossberg world
Sorry I can't help with Mossbergs, I am a Remington man

On the expert mossberg forum it says you can shoot slugs but they are not trajectory true...just going by what they say.

Ok, without trying to be argumentative...this is straight off the Mossberg website

Can I fire slugs through my 935™ or 835® vent rib, Accu-Mag® choke tube barrel?
No, 935™ and 835® field barrels (those with a ventilated rib) are "overbored," and the extra inside diameter may cause the projectile to "wobble" producing unreliable accuracy. A projectile may wedge inside the barrel causing an obstruction. Obstructions of any kind can cause damage to the firearm resulting in damage to the barrel and/or personal injury to you or those around you. Dedicated fully rifled slug barrels are available for the 935™ and 835® models. Other 935™ and 835® Accu-Mag® choke tube notes: Buckshot and steel-shot loads are not recommended for use with an extra full turkey tube installed.

not argumentative at all, I saw that also, people do it all the time so was just reporting what they said. The company wants to sell you another barrel, that is why they say not to do it. So go with what you want to do...I would change to a more open tube.
