Went to the range yesterday, with my new s+w sigma 40. No ftf or fte. By the time I got to my last three clips i put 40 out of 42 on paper. Need a little more time shooting with it as it has been a few years since i shot a handgun over .22. Recoil is manageable, gun shoots great. i might wanna change the sights at some point.

I love mine. I killed a cottonmouth friday bout as big as your arm with it.

I love mine too Allen, and cleaning/field strip easy as it gets.

This gun gets a lot of criticism across the internet. Not sure why. I know its not a Glock (which I am not a fan of to begin with), but its simple as you can get. I have run a TON of ammo thru mine and never had a issue of any sort. I try to find me a dirt pile and dump a mag every time I go to the woods to keep in practice. Plus a lot of gun ranges won't let you draw and shoot, so its good practice. Which reminds me, I need to go buy more PD ammo now

when S&W was first taken over by amc they came out with the sigma as the cheapest gun cost wise to produce they could find, and it showed. and as with even expensive guns at first their are often bugs to work out. the used their name to pawn off this pos. I had a cop practicly begging me to buy it as part of a multi gun deal for like 65$. couldn't fully load the mag,mag would fall out after a shor or 2, just horrible. now another owner and bugs are worked out. I do like the size, feel,sleekness/simplicity.
