I was talking to a guy at work about bows and he said he has a pearson cherokee bow he would sell for $50. It has a case, 3 arrows with broadheads, and release. I dont know anything else about it other than he said he has only used it a few times and it shoots good. It looks brand new and feels comfortable when I draw it. Anyway is that a decent price?

Judging from listings I found online (most 2 or 3 years old) and such, it's probably worth $50. You could offer him $30 or $40 and see if he'll take it. I saw several folks comment that if nothing else it would be great for bow-fishing.

I agree, 50 bucks isn't a bad price.
The problem with older bows is getting parts when things go wrong.
Things WILL go wrong...
