Well, I finished applying all the finish. Still going to have to do a lot of buffing and rubbing on the stock, but I needed to get it all boxed up with the rest of the parts. Gunboy is taking my precious inheritance up to his buddy in GA to get it super cleaned, re-blued, and reassembled. I already miss her. I am going to go through some serious withdrawals. I've already started experiencing the loss.

I could use a 270, I'll trade you a maverick 12 gauge pump straight across for her and throw in some of my old boxer shorts that are now too big, maybe you could use them for curtains or a car cover. when you get it back you and gunboy need to have a shoot off between the 270 and 308. winner keeps both guns if you 2 got the huevos.

I don't bet my family (and I'm not referring to Gunboy). I inherited that jewel from my granddad, and ain't nuttin but death gonna take her away from me. I'd be up for a shoot off for fun and beers though (afterwards, of course).

that would be a very interesting competition, normaly I would give the accuracy edge to the rem pump and 270 cal, but he was really on his game that day and I was very surprized to see that kind of accuracy from a lever. I'll offer my spotting/ impartial judging services.
