I had my friend Art redo the stock, install a new barrel & reblue my tired old Marlin 30-30 and it turned out awesome! It shoots good to! Check out the before and after pictures. The before is from hunting season a couple of years ago. It was actually worse when he got it due to the stock making contact with some metal and scratching the crap out of it. It looks like a brand new gun now.
Very nice. I have been following a guy online doing a Marauder conversion on a marlin and I am amazed at how good the wood comes out after being refinished, just like yours.
That's a fine lookin' ol' Marlin. I especially like the short magazine. Marlin used to stamp some of their rifles with "Glenfield" many years ago. They all had the short magazine tube. Treefarmer
