keep it clean and don't over oil it. give it a test drive. I imagine it would be fine to 50 yds at least for small game. it's not gonna be a target rifle, but you never know.

I just bought it plink tree rats and snakes. I wanted the 62A Winchester but did not want to give 650.00 for it. I had one I miss that old gun.
