Ruger realy hasn't been making autos (other than the 22's) for very long and doubt any gun store would offer more than app$250 if lucky, but that would be a fair price for family-family and make a nice sidearm or hunting b.u.g. for down here.

yes, new, retail $437 sounds about right, but a far cry from what a pawn or gun shop is gonna be willing to pay for a used one, sorry, please correct me when you get a few offers, curios how close my "expert" ESTIMATE was.

I saw one at the gun show today used for $375, Rugers don't go down in value much, I bet Greybeard it is an older model judging from what the other guns were and you may have a keeper there. Who knows an older one might go up in value. When you get the model # run it on Gun Broker as someone else said and look for the SOLD guns not what they are asking for but not sold...Good Luck.
