By the way, this pic is going around all the gun forums the last few days. I have heard just about every explanation imaginable and some far fetched made up crap on laws that don't exist that is just unbelievable
I would say that it was illegal unless it was replaced with a snap holster. Then it falls under the "securely encased" requirement.
It' s not snapped into the holster, it's not legal ! Seems straight forward to me.
You are correct! I didn't notice that it didn't have a strap or thumb break on the holster. If you took off from a light too fast that gun could end up in your lap!
