Gun advice..

I think the 35's are rather mild on recoil for what you are getting. much less than a 30-06 and just a little more than a 30-30. and if you reload you can put 357 pistol ammo in it and make yotes explode. they are still very popular for bear and even moose at closer woods ranges.

A while back I was playing with the idea of a 450 or 444, (I try to get larger caliber so my brother doesn't sneak them out to the range, he's only 125lbs). The main problem I found with the 450 was the gun was slightly too much for what I wanted to spend at the time and I dont even think I found a gun that shoots a 444. I think a .35 would be a fun lil hog gun.. I have a feeling that reloading press is gonna be pumpin out rounds

I'd personally buy a gun safe first to eliminate the issue with your brother.
