My sig P226 is SA/DA cant say for all models. I would think most modern semi autos with a hammer or sa/da. I can tell ya IMO I need to install the short trigger reset.I dont like how long the trigger pull is in DA.very very long pull

The P series are all DA/SA unless marked DAO. First shot is DA and all follow on shots remaining in magazine are SA.

several can be had in dao or da/sa. Police tend to issue the dao for liability reasons. I prefer the da/sa. when you rack the slide it puts the hammer back into full cocked and fires as single action (light trigger pull, and the trigger is actualy a bit closer to your finger). I've put the short trigger in my 226,220 and 239. it's just as the name implies, a shorter slightly diff shaped trigger that sits closer to your finger and makes it easier to reach if you have shorter fingers. it doesn't change any mechanics of the trigger group or mechanism. if you find you have to reach for the trigger and pull shots to the right, it's a good fix, for certain hand shapes and sizes.
