Here it is, I just picked up this Stag Arms 6.8 SPC upper, 2 boxes of ammo down the pipe. I got the upper, BCG, Two Original Stag 6.8 Mags (5 & 25) and 3 boxes of Match Grade BTHP ammo for $350. This thing fits on my spikes lower like a glove. Can't wait to take it out for some range time. I tracked down some SSA Sierra Pro Hunters in 110 gr and will make sure to stock some for this upcoming season.

SWEET. been looking around for a donor upper to make into a 300. but everybody selling uppers must think they are gold plated..lol. My buddy did get a bunch of New Frontier lowers in. They are the new composite lower. Built pretty good. probably gonna get one or two.

If you are willing to use the BCG out of your 223, I found a new 300 upper for $320 from DSarms.com. I have thought about putting a composite lower on my 223 and moving my spikes lower onto the 6.8 full time.

In concept, not in finished product. Plum Crazy has had alot of problems with their lowers failing, stress cracks and such. From what we could determine the New Frontier Armory is a superior lower. We had got one a few months ago, and have been doing "field testing". lol. Been running it through its paces down at the hog property. Haven't had any problems. New Frontier also offers a lifetime warranty on theirs.
