If you are going to do just a simple reblue just to improve the appearance of the gun and not worried about the value, then the bluing kit is the way to go. It is very simple to do
X2. Get a blue kit from Brownells and do it yourself. Personally, I'd strip it all down and paint it like Ilu2hunt did on his .25-06 H&R I sold him....
They are hunting guns, not collector guns... Although Gander has lost there mind at $225.00 that they are going to outsource anyway....
