I traded my AR for a Howa Model 1500 .308 with a bipod and 6x24x50 scope.
I have found some good reviews and I found a company called Sniper Central that uses them to build on but I was wondering if anyone here had any personal experience?
I believe Kemster got one not too long ago. Howas have been mentioned on the forums several times, always good stuff. Do a search for "Howa" and you'll find any old threads where they are mentioned.
the ones I've seen in that caliber have been great. I know Kemster loves his. if that is a quality scope, with all that mag you could be sighted in at 300 no probs. congrats
Which 1500 Howa is it, ranch or varmint ? varmint is the 20" heavy barrel. I have the varmint model in .308 . and i love mine. Good shooter, smooth action. Howa has a kit to replace the drop floor and install a 10 rnd detachable magazine. Looking to get a higher magnification scope for mine. currently have a redfield 4 x 12-40 . It works for now.
they actually made some guns for Mossberg. My 12gauge is a mossberg model 3000 made by howa in japan for mossberg
