been shooting recently the Federal Fusion 62 grn in my AR. finally recovered a bullet. that is a nickel it is next to. this is what was left after passing through the high shoulder and ribs on one side , then passing through internals, the ribs on the other side and lodging right under the skin. not to bad. will try and weight it tomorrow.

A couple of the guys in my office have been asking about hunting rounds for their AR's to take care of a hog issue on the family orange grove down in Kissimmee. I turned them onto the loads you and luv2hunt are using. That ammo is obviously efffective.

yep. has been very effective. but as any caliber, shot placement is key. i try to always shoot from a steady rest, the bi-pod is the best investment i have made on the AR. longest shot has been around 150-160 yds and am right on. nothing like taking down big hogs with 1 shot. lol
