I found this Remington 722, chambered in. 300 Savage, at the local shop. It sparked my interest in a traditional deer rifle for Miss Podunk. After finding an El Paso made steel tube K4 Weaver to top it and working the trigger to a crisp two and a half pounds it was ready for its first range day. Due to illness Miss Podunk sat this one out and one of my conscripts( read, young fella that wants to learn hunting and shooting) fired the group shown.
